The artistry of Carol’s basketry is created using waxed linen and each one takes about a month to make. They are based on the Native American tradition of age old basket twining techniques. On each basket are woven petroglyph designs significant to Native American cultures. Sizes range from 4 ½ to 6 inches high. They sometimes include a combination of cedar bark and waxed linen. Each basket is a one of a kind original. |
